Oxshott Repair Cafe

  • Danes Hill School Leatherhead Road Leatherhead, England, KT22 United Kingdom (map)

Bin it? No way!

Our repair cafe is an exciting collaboration between Oxshott Net Zero and Danes Hill School.

By giving items a second lease of life, we hope to reduce the volume of items going to landfill and also to help people pick up some skills and learn how to repair household items. We hope that this initiative will provide a friendly space for the village and the school to get to know each other better.
At each repair cafe we will be running repairs but that's not all we will be doing.  We will also run a skill-share between generations, craft and repair skills being passed down and tech skills being passed up.

Each session we will run a different collection of particular items for redistribution (for example tech or baby clothes).

Each repair cafe will be a great place to come and get a coffee and cake or to enjoy brilliant street food from fish and chips to burritos so just come along for lunch and enjoy the vibe.
