Green Elmbridge has now been ‘up’ and ‘formally’ running for over a year now, and we’d like to invite up to two representatives of each of our membership organisations to come along to our first Annual General Meeting which will be taking place on Thursday 25th January 2024 at 7.30pm in the Quaker Friends Meeting House, 3 Claremont Road, Esher, KT10 9DP. 

We also welcome supporters of non member Elmbridge community groups as well as local residents.

We are anticipating the AGM itself being a short and fairly informal event.  You will hear about what we have been doing over the past 15-months, our financial position and our plans for the coming year; with opportunities for member groups to report back on their work and plans. 

The AGM will be followed by 

• a Q & A session with Cllr David Young (Portfolio Holder for Climate Change), Jamie Pourier-Benham (Climate Change Programme Lead) and Jo Taylor (Climate Change Project Support Officer  ) from Elmbridge BC , and

• an opportunity for all present to network over some home-made snacks afterwards!

We will also be electing members of the Green Elmbridge Steering Group. If you would like to nominate one of your members to the Group, or to an officer post (Chair, Secretary,
Treasurer) – please let us know  again via greenelmbridge@gmail.com. (a copy of the constitution which includes roles and responsibilities is attached)

Please note that the meeting will be open to the wider public although only Green Elmbridge members will be able to vote at the AGM.
