Oatlands School Fun Day
Sunday 7th July was the Oatlands School Fun Day. It was action-packed and Green Elmbridge members ran a wildlife block printing activity, where children could make their own beautiful prints of bumblebees, ladybirds and butterflies. It was supported with a showcase of fun wildlife identification activities from the Surrey Wildlife Trust's website. Excellent resources for the summer holidays which you can find here: Activities | Wildlife Watch
The team from WAHGA also hosted and funded a fantastic free planting activity, where the children could choose between planting a pumpkin or house leek. It was extremely well-received by all and very popular.
It was a great day and the team look forward to more projects together with the local school.
