South East Rivers Trust
Visiting a river can be a great way of connecting with nature, learning about wildlife and just enjoying the outdoors.
Join us for one of two walks as we stroll along the Hogsmill River through Elmbridge Meadows to discover the history, wildlife, and issues this stretch of river is facing and how we plan to bring it back to life with our ‘Enriching Elmbridge Meadows’ river restoration project.
The walk will take a circular route from Hogsmill footbridge at Green Lanes recreational ground up to the bridge at the A3 and back again along a public footpath trail. The total walk will be approximately 1.5 miles, and roughly an hour and a half long, taken at a leisurely pace with stops along route to talk.
Date: Thursday 17th August
Time: Walk 1 4-5:30pm
Time: Walk 2 6-7:30pm
Meeting Point: Hogsmill Footbridge next to Green Lanes Recreation Ground and end of Surbiton Hill Park, KT5 8EN
